Quality Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the li-ion battery manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Additionally, you will implement and monitor ESD and reliability testing protocols. Regular evaluation of production processes and product quality assurance will be essential parts of your role. You will also be conducting electrical parameter testing on finished battery products and managing material availability. Analyzing scrap and non-conformance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and conducting regular audits will be key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes ensuring compliance with quality standards. - Implement and monitor ESD and reliability testing protocols. - Regularly assess and analyze internal production processes to identify areas of improvement. - Inspect final product output for quality assurance and conformity to specifications. - Conduct rigorous electrical parameter testing on final finished battery products. - Prepare and maintain quality records, MIS reports, and documentation for audits. - Coordinate with departments to ensure timely material availability as per the dispatch plan. - Analyze major scrap using quality tools and work with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) for corrective and preventive actions. - Actively participate in 5S and Quality Circle programs. - Conduct regular process audits as per schedule and implement corrective actions. Qualification Required: - Previous experience in li-ion battery manufacturing and testing processes - Strong knowledge of quality standards and testing protocols - Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements - Excellent communication and teamwork skills Please note the job types for this position are Full-time and Permanent.
