Job Title Quality Engineer - DEFOA Job Description Job title: Quality Engineer- DEFOA Your role: Applies sophisticated risk assessment methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify and evaluate intricate potential hazards, meticulously assessing risk severity and probability, and devising comprehensive risk control strategies. Leads the production of Safety/Compliance Engineering documents ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation and compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Conducts timely and detailed safety/compliance engineering tasks, including assessing the safety/compliance of designs, analyzing test and performance data, and conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues. Analyzes market feedback and collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions and improvements to enhance product safety and compliance. Provides expert guidance and support to organizational units in addressing safety/compliance engineering deficiencies, offering insights and recommendations to optimize processes and mitigate risks. Delivers detailed safety reports and articulates comprehensive risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies, ensuring clarity in communication and facilitating informed decision-making processes. Navigates intricate regulatory landscapes and emerging industry standards, integrating new knowledge into robust safety protocols to ensure steadfast compliance and uphold operational excellence. Acts as a subject matter expert on safety and compliance matters, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners as needed, develops and delivers training programs for internal teams on product safety principles, compliance requirements, and best practices. Contributes to the continuous improvement of safety and compliance processes and methodologies, identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Data Analysis Interpretation Design for Quality (DFQ) Root Cause Analysis (RCA) CAPA Methodologies Regulatory Requirements Privacy, Safety and Security Risk Assessment Technical Documentation Continuous Improvement Product Quality and Reliability 3. Education- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Prefer). 4. Anything else-Good communication skill, Critical Thinking, Quality mindset. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company s main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
