Job Description We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of product quality in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, analyzing defects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and compliance with industry standards. Job Responsibilities Apply Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing (GDT) principles for precise quality control. Manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new and existing products. Handle supplier claims and manage 8D problem solving processes to address quality issues. Conduct in house audits (technical and process) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Oversee cost of poor quality (CoPQ) related to suppliers and implement corrective actions. Monitor and improve in house quality performance through data analysis and development initiatives. Ensure quality standards for new product development and collaborate with cross functional teams. Work closely with global manufacturing plants to align quality processes and share best practices. Prepare Non Conformance (NC) reports for in house rejections and drive resolution. Develop and maintain quality plans for production and supplier development. Conduct incoming inspections, manage Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and maintain supplier reports. Organize and lead quality review meetings with cross functional teams to address and resolve issues. Regularly update and maintain the Quality Performance Board to track key metrics. Perform process capability studies for Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters. Provide awareness training to operators on quality processes as needed. Background Skills Strong knowledge of GDT, PPAP, and quality management systems. Experience in supplier quality management, 8D problem solving, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with in house and supplier audits, process capability studies, and quality planning. Proficiency in record keeping, GRN management, and supplier reporting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to conduct training sessions for operators on quality standards. Good soft skills for teamwork and coordination.
