As a Quality Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background, your role will involve overseeing product quality, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will be required to travel frequently to suppliers, manufacturing sites, and customer locations to conduct audits and resolve quality issues. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Perform supplier audits and on-site quality evaluations. - Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions. - Use precision measuring instruments and perform testing as needed. - Maintain quality reports, documentation, and compliance records. - Support process improvements and defect reduction initiatives. Qualifications: - Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Experience: 15 years in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing, forging, or automotive industries. Freshers may apply. Technical Skills: - Familiarity with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is a plus. - Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
