Job Description

Job Title: QC RM (Quality Control – Raw Material) Analyst

Location: [Rai, Sonipat]

Department: Quality Control (QC)

Reports To: QC Manager / QC Head

Job Summary:

The QC RM Analyst is responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials received from suppliers to ensure compliance with predefined quality specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining product safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance for third-party manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine testing of incoming raw materials as per SOPs.
  • Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests to verify material quality.
  • Ensure identification, purity, and conformity of raw materials to specifications.
  • Record, maintain, and report accurate test results in laboratory documentation systems.
  • Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and out-of-specification (OOS) results.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and QC teams for timely material release.
  • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory instruments.
  • Follow GLP, GMP, and ISO standards strictly.
  • Support method development, validation, and documentation as required.
  • Maintain laboratory hygiene, organization, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in QC raw material testing in the pharmaceutical industry (third-party manufacturing experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of QC analytical techniques: HPLC, UV, FTIR, titration, loss on drying, etc.
  • Familiarity with GLP, GMP, and ISO standards.
  • Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office; LIMS knowledge preferred).
  • Commitment to quality, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Laboratory environment handling chemicals and raw materials.
  • May involve standing for extended periods and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
