Job Title: Quality Control Engineer (Crane Manufacturing Only) Company: Endeavour Instrument Pvt. Ltd. – Ahmedabad, Gujarat Industry: EOT & Gantry Crane Manufacturing Salary: Up to ₹40,000/month Job Description We are hiring a Quality Control Engineer with mandatory experience in the crane industry (EOT/Gantry cranes only). The candidate must have hands-on exposure to heavy structural fabrication, welding inspection, and mechanical/electrical components used in crane manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Incoming Material Quality Check – Inspect fabricated items, MS sections, motors, gearboxes, panels, etc., as per drawings and crane standards. Standard Compliance – Ensure all materials and assemblies meet IS 3177, IS 807, and IS 800 standards. Rejection & Rework Handling – Manage rejected and reworked material with root-cause analysis and follow-ups. Job Work & Machined Parts Inspection – Inspect outsourced items (wheels, shafts, pulleys, etc.) on arrival. Welding & Fabrication Checks – Verify joint preparation, weld quality, distortion control, and dimensional accuracy. In-Process & Final Assembly Checks – Inspect crane assemblies, bogies, gearboxes, panels, cable trays, etc., during production. Testing Oversight – Supervise final testing like load test, no-load test, electrical control checks, and travel alignment. TC/MTC & Documentation – Ensure material certificates and inspection reports are maintained as per project QAP. Supplier Quality Monitoring – Rate and report on vendors supplying fabricated and bought-out items. Required Skills Experience in EOT/Gantry Crane manufacturing is mandatory Knowledge of fabrication drawings , GD&T , welding symbols , and IS standards for cranes Proficient in using measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.) Familiarity with load testing procedures , weld inspections , and electrical component verification Understanding of ISO 9001 QMS , rejection analysis, and quality documentation Ability to communicate clearly with shop floor workers, supervisors, and suppliers Eligibility Criteria Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering only Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience exclusively in crane manufacturing QC Salary: Up to ₹35,000/month (based on experience and interview) Location: Changodar Plant, Ahmedabad Working Days: 6 days/week How to Apply Email your resume to: hr2@endeavourcranes.com Subject Line: QC Engineer – Crane Industry – [Your Name] Last date to apply: 15 June 2025 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,214.51 - ₹40,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
