Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

Assessing Production Processes: Analyzing and evaluating manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistency in quality. Creating Quality Control Checkpoints: Establishing and implementing quality control measures throughout the production lifecycle to prevent defects and ensure compliance. Testing Products: Conducting various tests and inspections to verify that products meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Generating Reports: Documenting test results, inspection findings, and quality-related issues, and presenting them to stakeholders. Identifying and Addressing Quality Issues: Investigating and resolving quality-related problems, recommending corrective actions, and implementing process improvements. Liaising with Teams: Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and production, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain. Implementing Quality Systems: Developing and implementing quality control systems, such as ISO 9001, to ensure continuous improvement. Documentation: Creating and maintaining quality documentation, including test plans, procedures, and records. Required Skills: Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and relevant industry regulations. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems related to quality. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve processes. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and customers. Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on the details and ensure that all products meet quality standards. Proficiency in Inspection Techniques: Understanding and applying various inspection techniques, such as visual inspection, measurement, and testing.
