Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for ensuring that all bakery and cake shop products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, food safety, and hygiene. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks, implementing food safety regulations, and ensuring compliance with FSSAI and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the bakery production and retail operations.
• Conduct daily inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control, hygiene, and food safety.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
• Regularly inspect bakery equipment, storage areas, and workstations for hygiene and safety compliance.
• Conduct shelf-life testing and maintain records of product stability.
• Work closely with chefs, bakers, and staff to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Train staff on hygiene practices, food safety, and quality protocols.
• Document and maintain records of quality checks, audits, and compliance reports.
• Handle customer feedback/complaints related to product quality and implement preventive measures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the bakery, confectionery, or food industry.
• Knowledge of FSSAI guidelines, HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to train, guide, and supervise staff on quality standards.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for desserts, cakes, and baked products is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
