Job Description

Job Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Create and maintain library of customer’s approved QCP and MFG components matrices. Conduct contract reviews at a tender stage to identify customer’s quality requirements. Identify existing reference PNs, QCPs, or components metrices applicable to quotation inquiries. Create customer specifics Quality Control Plans (QCP) at a tender stage. Ensure contractual requirements are built into Quality Control plans as well as any applicable API standards. Component matrices (Inspection Matrices or Inspection Test Matrices) at tender stage. Identify applicable existing L-5 intelligent Q-Codes applicable to quotation inquires. Interface with MFG Quality to keep MFG MAP up to date at all times. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by his direct or indirect Supervisor within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these. Education 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance role in manufacturing environment involving contract review process and development of quality control plans. Excellent written, reading, and oral communication in English. Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software at a minimum. Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, and willingness to help. Knowledge Understanding of ISO 9001 and API Q1. Ability to read of engineering drawings. Ability to read customer technical requirements and translate them into quality control plans. Skilled at data mining (Excel Pivot Tables, other Excel tools).
