About Pearson VUEPearson VUE is a business within Pearson PLC and is the global leader in computer-based testing for information technology, academic, government and professional testing programs around the world Pearson VUE provides a full suite of services from test development to data management and delivers exams through the world most comprehensive and secure network of test centres in more than 175 countries Test Publishing Quality Assurance Analyst (TPQA)(*Not A Software Quality Assurance (QA) position*)The Test Publishing Quality Assurance Analyst (TPQA) ensures that exams function reliably so that clients and candidates do not experience any issues with the exam The TPQA Analyst does this by verifying and validating exams against specifications This role is not a software Quality Assurance (QA) position The role involves quality checking exams produced using Pearson VUE proprietary software \u2013 using xml and html Primarily using internal tools and software to run reports, using excel and databases to check large amounts of data, and visually checking and testing exam functionality and performance Key ResponsibilitiesComplete full and detailed checks on all tasks using Pearson VUE test driver softwareCreate and develop test plans, ensuring compliance with approved processesRun full end-to-end quality checks of exams using Pearson VUE proprietary software and a range of internal and external tools and systems Provide detailed and accurate feedback of quality issues found during quality checksProvide detailed, timely, efficient tracking and reporting on all assigned projectsWork closely with all internal stakeholders as required during normal day-to-day activitiesPlan work effectively to ensure that deadlines are met and tasks are completed to the highest quality standards Essential Experience, Skills & QualificationsHigher educational qualification, preferably in a technology-related fieldExperience and understanding of QA methodologiesProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsDetailed, logical and common-sense approach to daily tasks, objectives, goals and projectsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to work on own initiativeA high-energy approach and ability to work quickly to get resolutionsProblem identification and solving skillsThe ability to work in a dynamic team environment coupled with the ability to successfully communicate to all types of audience and across different cultures and regions Keen eye for detail Excellent written and verbal EnglishFlexibility related to workflow and changing prioritiesFlexibility regarding working additional hours to meet client needs and to work with colleagues globallyHigh level of technical acumenWorking ArrangementsWorking hours - 40 hours per weekWorking location \u2013 On-site in our India regional headquarters in Noida
