Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Surat for a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance process, from initial concept through finished product. Day-to-day tasks will include developing and implementing quality assurance standards, conducting audits, training staff, reviewing quality documentation, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance standards and protocols
• Proficiency in conducting audits and preparing quality documentation
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as ASME, TEMA, API, IS, and IBR
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to train staff and improve quality assurance processes
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with additional certifications in quality assurance being advantageous
• Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or mechanical engineering industry is beneficial

Key Objectives:

• Drive continuous improvement in quality and compliance.

• Ensure adherence to ISO, ASME, API, or relevant codes/standards.

• Minimize rework, rejection, and customer complaints.

• Train and guide the QA/QC team and production staff.
