As a B2B manufacturer, we are a trusted partner for numerous private label brands and food service companies, both in India and in growing export markets. The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Quality Assurance to lead our QA functions across our two key production facilities in Rudrapur and Jaspur. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to take full ownership of our quality systems, ensure compliance with the highest standards, and play a crucial role in our growth. Key Responsibilities Audit & Certification Management: Lead, prepare for, and manage all third-party and customer audits, including GFSI-benchmarked standards like FSSC 22000 and BRC. Ensure continuous compliance and successful recertification. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance teams at both the Rudrapur and Jaspur units. Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary expert on FSSAI regulations and other relevant food safety laws. Ensure all processes, documentation, and products consistently meet these standards. Quality Management System (QMS): Oversee and enhance the existing QMS and HACCP plans. Drive initiatives to improve product quality, reduce deviations, and increase efficiency. Customer & Private Label Management: Act as the main point of contact for all quality-related matters with our diverse portfolio of private label customers, ensuring their specific requirements and standards are met. Required Skills & Experience B2B Food Manufacturing Background: Must have significant QA management experience within a food processing or manufacturing facility that operates on a B2B model. GFSI Audit Command: Strong, hands-on experience with GFSI standards (FSSC 22000, BRC). Must have a successful track record of personally leading and passing multiple complex audits. Team & Multi-Unit Management: Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and develop a team of quality professionals across multiple sites. Regulatory & Technical Expertise: In-depth, practical knowledge of FSSAI food safety regulations and a solid understanding of food microbiology principles and their application in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Product Experience: Some direct experience in the RTE food food sector is highly desirable. Export Market Knowledge: Familiarity with quality and documentation requirements for export markets (e.g., US, EU, Middle East) would be a significant advantage. Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Supplier Quality Assurance: Experience in developing and managing a supplier quality program, including raw material specifications and supplier audits. Location & Travel This position is based in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. The role holds responsibility for the Jaspur unit, which requires travel to that facility 2-3 times per week to ensure consistent standards and team alignment. (Commute will be provided).
