Quality Assurance Manager-Garments Unit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and ensure product quality at every stage of the garment manufacturing process—from raw materials to finished goods. The ideal candidate will lead the QA/QC team, enforce compliance with international quality standards, and continuously improve systems to meet customer expectations and reduce defects.

Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Planning and Strategy

• Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures across the production line.
• Define quality benchmarks in accordance with buyer requirements and international standards (e.g., AQL).
• Collaborate with production, merchandising, and compliance teams to align quality goals.

2. Quality Control Management

• Oversee in-line, end-line, and final inspections.
• Review and analyze quality data (defect types, rejection rates, rework reports) to identify trends and root causes.
• Ensure proper documentation of QA activities including inspection reports, CAPAs, and audits.

3. Team Management

• Supervise and train the QA/QC team, including quality inspectors, supervisors, and auditors.
• Conduct regular training sessions on quality awareness, SOPs, and updated buyer requirements.

4. Supplier and Material Quality Assurance

• Coordinate with the sourcing and procurement teams to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories).
• Conduct incoming material inspections and approve/reject based on standards.

5. Compliance & Audits

• Ensure adherence to compliance requirements from buyers (Walmart, H&M, Zara, etc.) and certifying bodies (ISO, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.).
• Prepare and lead internal and external audits.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or PDCA.
• Reduce rework and rejection rates while increasing first-pass yield

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
