Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Pre-Engineered Building (PEB)

This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on ensuring excellence from raw material inspection to site erection and who can implement systems that drive zero-defect manufacturing and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control quality in

  fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly

  processes
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process work, and final assemblies
• Lead internal audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Establish quality plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and inspection checklists for each project.
• Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and client requirements
• Manage calibration of instruments and ensure traceability of records
• Conduct supplier quality assessments and vendor evaluations
• Train and mentor QA/QC personnel at plant and site locations
• Generate and maintain all documentation required for project handover and certification

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
• 25 years of experience in QA/QC within PEB, steel fabrication, or industrial construction
• Strong knowledge of

  IS codes

  , welding standards, and inspection methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, NDT methods, and fabrication tolerances
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to lead teams, enforce systems, and collaborate across departments
