Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System:
• Design, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System
(QMS) to align with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and other
regulatory requirements.
• Develop quality policies, objectives, and procedures tailored to the organization
manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular internal audits and prepare for external audits to ensure compliance
and certification.
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality performance,
such as defect rates, process capability indices, and customer satisfaction scores.
2. Process and Product Quality:
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to define quality
standards for new and existing products.
• Implement advanced quality planning techniques, such as Advanced Product Quality
Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential risks and
implement preventive measures.
• Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other data-driven methods to monitor
and improve process capability.
3. Inspection and Testing:
• Develop comprehensive inspection plans, including sampling methods, acceptance
criteria, and testing protocols.
• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to industry
standards.
• Analyze inspection and test data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas
for improvement.
• Implement automated inspection systems and tools to enhance efficiency and
accuracy.
4. Supplier Quality Management:
• Define quality requirements for suppliers and conduct regular supplier audits to
ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and approve new suppliers
based on quality performance.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics, such as defect rates and delivery timelines,
and address quality issues through corrective action plans.
5. Customer Quality Assurance:
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and complaints.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for customer-reported issues and implement
corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain a customer feedback loop to continuously improve product
quality and customer satisfaction.
6. Team Leadership and Training:
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and accountability.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards, tools, and techniques
for employees at all levels.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall quality awareness and
performance.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive records of quality assurance activities, including inspection
reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed quality reports for management, highlighting trends, achievements,
and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all quality documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits and
regulatory inspections.
8. Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and
Kaizen principles.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining
quality standards.
• Implement innovative technologies, such as Industry 4.0 solutions, to enhance
quality control and process efficiency.
Global Standards and Practices:
• Ensure alignment with global quality standards and practices, fostering consistency
across the organization.

• Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, encouraging collaboration and

• Implement training programs to enhance cultural competence that align with the

• Develop tailored solutions to address customers' unique quality standard needs in
different regions.
Technology and Innovation:
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies, such as AI-driven quality control systems and
IoT-enabled monitoring tools, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging employees to propose and implement
new ideas.
Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and
surface treatments (e.g., black zinc plating, chemical conversion coatings, black oxide
coating, Painting, and Powder Coating Standards).
• Proficiency in automated manufacturing technologies, such as CNC machines,
robotics, and additive manufacturing (3D printing).
Process Optimization:
• Implement advanced manufacturing techniques, such as Just-In-Time (JIT)
production and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize simulation software and digital twins to optimize production processes and
reduce downtime.
Quality Control Tools:
• Expertise in using quality control tools, such as Coordinate Measuring Machines
(CMM), optical comparators, and automated inspection systems.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software for process monitoring and improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or Quality
Management.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE),
or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) are preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing
environment.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing QMS and quality improvement
initiatives.
Skills:
• Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, RCA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
