Quality Assurance Executive - Food Safety -Ahmedabad

The QA Executive - Food Safety will support the implementation and day-to-day monitoring of food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance systems in our bakery and pastry production. The role is vital in maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and product consistency, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Safety & Compliance

• Perform routine food safety checks across production, storage, and packing areas
  
• Maintain and update food safety documentation and daily checklists
  
• Support in implementation of HACCP, FSSAI, and ISO standards
  
• Assist during audits (internal and external)
  

Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring

• Check cleaning schedules are followed in kitchen and work areas
  
• Conduct hygiene inspections and report deviations
  
• Maintain pest control records and follow up on corrective actions
  

Product Quality Checks

• Perform quality checks of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
  
• Monitor product parameters like taste, texture, and appearance as per standards
  
• Report any deviation to QA Manager and support corrective action
  

Documentation & Traceability

• Ensure all QA-related records are accurately maintained
  
• Assist in maintaining traceability records for batches and control samples
  
• Help in mock recall exercises and documentation
  

Team Coordination

• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams on QA-related matters
  
• Share basic food safety knowledge with shopfloor staff
  
• Support in staff training sessions on hygiene and safety practices
  

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification:

  B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related stream

• Experience:

1. 2- 4 years in food manufacturing (bakery/pastry preferred).
2. Familiar with FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO standards3. Strong attention to detail and good with documentation4. Comfortable working in kitchen/production environments

Candidates with experience in the QSR Industry will be preferred .
