Quality Assurance Executive (B.Sc./M.Sc. Physics)

This position is open exclusively to candidates residing in Vadodara.

The Quality Assurance Executive will support and maintain the quality management system in line with ISO/IEC 17025 and BIS standards, focusing on the testing of wheel rims, tyres, and safety glasses. The candidate must have strong skills in documentation and document review.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation and maintenance of ISO/IEC 17025 and BIS quality systems within the laboratory.

• Support, monitor, and document all stages of the testing process for wheel rims, tyres, and safety glasses.

• Ensure that all test and calibration records, logbooks, and technical documents are complete and audit-ready at all times.

• Conduct internal audits, help prepare for external accreditation or BIS audits, and coordinate corrective actions as needed.

• Train laboratory staff on proper documentation practices, the importance of compliance, and changes in regulatory requirements.

• Identify areas for improvement in laboratory processes and update documentation accordingly.

• Review and authorize test reports prior to release, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and BIS standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physics.

• Previous experience in a quality assurance role in a testing laboratory (desired).

• Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and BIS regulatory requirements for product testing.

• Excellent skills in documentation, record keeping, and reviewing technical files.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is preferred.
