Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re Hiring: Manual QA Engineer (Web Application Testing)

Location: Ahmedabad (Preferred)

Experience: 03-05 years

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and self-driven Manual QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality for our React-based web application. If you love breaking things (in a good way, documenting issues clearly, and ensuring smooth releases — we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform comprehensive manual testing of our React web app across multiple devices & browsers

Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing

Create & maintain detailed test cases and documentation

Conduct UAT and validate feature requirements

Release Testing & Management

Lead release testing cycles to ensure deployment readiness

Collaborate with developers/product teams to validate bug fixes & new features

Communicate release readiness and testing timelines

Perform smoke testing and post-release validation

Bug Management & Documentation

Document & track bugs in Jira with clear and actionable details

Create detailed bug reports with reproducible steps

Use Jam. dev for screen recordings to communicate issues

Prioritize bugs by severity and business impact

Independent Problem-Solving

Analyze features even with limited docs and identify edge cases

Independently determine testing strategies and coverage

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams via Slack

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills:

Strong attention to detail and methodical testing approach

Self-driven, able to work independently

Hands-on manual testing experience (web + responsive)

Familiarity with React-based app testing

Jira proficiency
Good communication skills

Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)

Technical Requirements:

Understanding QA processes & software testing lifecycle

Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases

Experience with cross-browser & mobile web testing

Familiarity with agile methodology

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

Automation Experience:

JavaScript & automation frameworks

Playwright experience

Understanding of automated testing principles

Additional Skills:

Startup experience

Jam.dev or similar screen-recording tools

Basic CI/CD understanding

API testing knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
