Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that our applications meet high-quality standards before release.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of QA methodologies and processes. You should be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If you are passionate about delivering quality software and improving testing processes, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to work closely with development and product teams to identify issues early and ensure smooth, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
• Identify, record, and track defects through the entire bug lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
• Maintain documentation related to test procedures, results, and quality metrics.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester (4–5 years).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual testing and exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress).
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Familiarity with API testing and database validation (SQL queries).
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BSc/BCA/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
