Position: Quality Assurance Engineer / Executive

Experience: 2–3 Years

Location: Umbergaon-Vapi

Reports To: QA/QC Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer/Executive with 2–3 years of experience to oversee quality checks

of incoming materials from vendors. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of

fabrication standards and mechanical inspection methods relevant to an OEM environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 Inspect incoming materials and components as per drawings and specifications.

 Review and verify material test certificates, dimensional reports, and documentation.

 Maintain inspection records and prepare NCRs for deviations or rejections.

 Coordinate with vendors on quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.

 Assist in vendor evaluation based on quality performance.

 Support implementation of QA procedures and continuous improvement practices.

 Participate in internal audits and compliance activities.

Skills & Requirements:

 Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and inspection instruments.

 Familiarity with welding standards, fabrication processes, and materials like SS/MS.

 Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP documentation.

 Strong attention to detail with problem-solving ability.

 Effective communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

 Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
