Manual Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
  • Write and maintain detailed, well-structured test cases and test plans
  • Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Log and track defects clearly and work closely with developers for resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery
  • Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting activities

Required Skills:

  • 2–3 years of experience in manual testing
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, JIRA, or similar test management tools
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Basic knowledge of any automation tool (e.g., Selenium)
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git
  • Exposure to mobile app testing or cross-browser testing
