Job Description

SentientGeek s is looking for passionate Quality Analyst to join our development team in our Kolkata office. An ideal candidate would graduate with a basic knowledge of Quality assurance to design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications, participate actively in functional, system, and regression testing activities. Responsibilities Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Build and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. Must have good knowledge in Manual Web Testing. Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities. Coordinate and communicate with Leads on assignment delivery. Proven work experience in software quality assurance. Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience working in an agile scrum development process preferable. Key Activities: Quality assurance across multiple projects & platforms ensuring error-free delivery of projects. Create Test Cases, Review & Execute Test Schedule. User Interface Testing, Functional Testing. Bug Tracking, Reporting and Process compliance. Manual testing and smoke testing. Testing web-based applications. Testing on mobile and tablet devices. Technical documentation. Ability to document errors. Proven knowledge of testing technologies, tools, and methods. Perform regression testing. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Preference: Minimum 1 year of experience with Manual Testing. Automation will be an added advantage. Candidates capable of seamlessly communicating in English with supervisors or clients.
