Quality Analyst

You will be joining a fast-growing SaaS platform based in Surat, Gujarat, India, that specializes in streamlining recruitment and job posting processes for companies globally. The platform aims to enhance the hiring process efficiency for businesses while providing a seamless experience for job seekers. As a Software QA Engineer, your role will not only involve identifying code, functionality, and UI bugs but also evaluating and enhancing user experience (UX) by considering the perspectives of candidates, employers, and admins. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure system quality by analyzing and improving technical functionality and UX optimization. This will require close collaboration with Product Managers, Developers, and Customer Success teams to guarantee that product releases are user-friendly, intuitive, and reliable. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plans, test cases, and test scripts in alignment with product requirements and user expectations. - Analyze product workflows from different user perspectives to identify pain points and suggest improvements. - Conduct manual and automated tests to ensure seamless user interactions across web and mobile platforms. - Identify UI inconsistencies, navigation issues, and areas for workflow optimization. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Playwright. - Log defects with clear reproduction steps, impact assessment, and severity levels. - Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and prioritize bugs based on business impact and user frustration levels. - Ensure smooth onboarding experiences for candidates and employers, verify AI-driven candidate-job matching accuracy, and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Provide insights on feature usability and partner with cross-functional teams to refine user journeys and navigation. - Document UX issues and propose intuitive design enhancements. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. - Experience: 3-4 years in QA, preferably in SaaS platforms or job board/recruitment workflows. - Testing Tools: Experience with bug tracking tools like ClickUp and Jira. - Automation: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools. - CI/CD & Agile: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, strong communication, and adaptability. - User-Centric Thinking: Ability to analyze how features would be used by different user types and suggest workflow improvements. - Bonus: Experience with performance/security testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, and API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured.,
