QS & Billing Engineer

Role Overview: As an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Billing Manager (Civil), your role will be crucial in the Project Management team. Your primary responsibilities will include working with all project stakeholders to determine project BOQ/cost/budget, preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, managing project budget for civil construction items, certifying civil construction bills, reconciling free supply materials, taking off quantities from drawings, applying knowledge of thumb rules, and maintaining meticulousness in your work. Key Responsibilities: - Work with project stakeholders to determine project BOQ/cost/budget - Independently prepare accurate quantity takeoffs supported by measurement sheets and hand sketches - Demonstrate proficiency in spreadsheet/Microsoft Excel functions - Review/take measurements from AutoCAD drawing files - Manage Project Budget for civil construction items following CPWD/DSR format - Prepare, check, and certify civil construction running and final bills - Reconcile cement, steel, and other free supply material - Take off accurate quantities from construction/GFC drawings - Apply strong knowledge of various thumb rules and ratios for civil construction items - Utilize resourcefulness and contacts with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for civil construction trade items - Maintain a high level of meticulousness and thoroughness in your work Qualifications Required: - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Have a minimum of 8-10 years of quantity surveying, billing, and planning experience in civil contracting or consultancy organizations - Demonstrate theoretical and practical knowledge of various civil construction activities such as RCC work, road and infrastructure work, building work, structural steel work, architectural and finishing items, plumbing and sanitary items, and aluminum section work In summary, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Billing Manager (Civil) who can effectively manage project budgets, prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, and ensure precise billing in the civil construction sector.,
