Job Description

Hiring: QC / QA Engineer – Manufacturing Industry

Position: QC / QA Engineer
Experience: 2–6 Years (Fabrication / Welding / Production)
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engineering / Diploma Mechanical
Location: (Add Location)
Industry: Fabrication | Welding | Industrial Manufacturing
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspection of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Perform Welding Quality checks (SMAW / MIG / TIG / SAW).
Inspect fabrication parts such as plates, tubes, cut sections, and assemblies.
Monitor Bridge Stacker / Bridge Cutting Machine output quality.
Verify dimensions using Vernier, Micrometers, Height Gauge, Dial Gauges, etc.
Prepare Quality Reports, NCR, CAPA, and Inspection Test Reports (ITR).
Work closely with Production, Design, and Maintenance teams.
Ensure compliance with ISO, Safety Standards & QMS procedures.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and implement preventive actions.
Support stagewise inspection, welding visual checks, hardness tests, and final dispatch checks.

Welding Quality (Visual, Fit-up, Final)
Fabrication Inspection
Dimensional Inspection Tools
Bridge Stacker/Bridge Cutter Machine Quality Check
TMT, Drilling, Punching & Cutting Inspection
Knowledge of Paint/Coating Quality (Blasting, Epoxy, GI)
Basic NDT (if required by company)
Documentation: QC reports, ITP, SOP, QMS
