Job Title: Quality Controller (QC) – Garment Industry (Woven Sector)
Location: Chennai
Experience: 4 to 6 Years
Salary Range: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Controller (QC) with experience in the woven garment industry. The QC will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality standards at all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final shipment, ensuring adherence to buyer specifications and company quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inline, mid-line, and final quality inspections of woven garments.
• Inspect fabrics, trims, accessories, and embellishments before production.
• Monitor quality throughout the cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing stages.
• Identify defects, suggest corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and quality audit documentation.
• Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to meet buyer quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to AQL standards and SOPs during production.
• Assist in preparing samples for buyer approvals and conduct pre-production meetings.
• Support the QA/QC team in implementing continuous improvement practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quality-related issues.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of woven garment construction and production processes.
• Ability to detect and analyze quality defects quickly and effectively.
• Knowledge of AQL standards, quality systems, and buyer compliance.
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Graduate in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, or Apparel Production preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in QC, specifically in woven garment manufacturing.
