QC Specialist

Inspect raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories to ensure quality compliance before production. Conduct in-line and final inspections of garments to identify defects in stitching, embroidery, dyeing, finishing, and fitting. Ensure all garments meet brand quality standards (measurements, workmanship, aesthetics, and durability). Collaborate with production and sampling teams to resolve quality issues immediately. Maintain detailed QC reports, highlighting defects, rejections, and corrective actions. Monitor adherence to production timelines while ensuring zero compromise on quality. Provide guidance to tailors, checkers, and finishing staff to maintain consistency in work. Work closely with the design team to ensure prototypes and bulk production match approved samples. Implement and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality checks. Approve shipments only after passing the final quality audit. RequirementsBachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile/Fashion Technology or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QC within apparel, ethnic wear, or fashion manufacturing. Strong knowledge of garment construction, embroidery, fabrics, and finishing techniques. Excellent observation skills with an eye for detail. Ability to create and maintain QC documentation and reports. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with industry standards (AQL, garment testing, measurement specs).
