QC Engineer

1. Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement and monitor project quality plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and method statements.
• Conduct inspections for materials, workmanship, and construction activities as per approved drawings and standards.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client quality requirements.
• Carry out checks during concrete pouring, reinforcement, shuttering, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, painting, and finishing works.

2. Material Inspection

• Verify incoming construction materials with approved material submittals and test certificates.
• Coordinate with the site store and procurement for quality-related issues.
• Maintain records of material inspection reports (MIR) and non-conformance reports (NCR).

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, reports, and checklists for all activities.
• Assist in preparing monthly quality reports and submitting to clients or consultants.
• Maintain updated calibration records of measuring instruments and testing equipment.

4. Coordination & Testing

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site execution teams for joint inspections.
• Witness concrete cube testing, soil compaction testing, and other field/lab tests.
• Liaise with external testing laboratories for third-party testing when required.

5. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action

• Identify and record non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure rectification work meets the approved quality standards before reinspection.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure site activities are carried out safely and with proper quality control measures.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 3–10 years of experience in QA/QC for civil or industrial construction projects.
• Good knowledge of IS codes, ASTM, and construction quality standards.
• Proficient in preparing inspection checklists, reports, and documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Industrial buildings (PEB structures, warehouses, factories).
• Commercial and residential high-rise projects.
• Infrastructure or government civil projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
