Qa Tester

Position: QA Tester

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute performance and load testing strategies for a large-scale microservices-base application.

Utilize tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar to conduct performance, load, and stress testing of web/desktop applications and backend services.

Write and maintain performance test scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.

Prepare datasets for execution, analyze results from performance tests, and identify bottlenecks.

Report findings, log defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.

Execute UNIX commands, write SQL queries, and manage databases effectively to support testing and debugging.

Implement and execute automation scripts using tools like Cypress or Playwright.

Work with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.

Team Overview:

You will be part of the Cross-Asset Client Allocation Team within the Equity Trading Systems (ETS) division.

Key highlights:

Systems process 10M+ messages/day across 52 global exchanges.

Supporting 600+ internal and external users worldwide.

Interfacing with 20+ sales/execution systems and 50+ trading desks globally.

Role Highlights:

Develop best-in-class allocation services critical to Morgan Stanleys institutional equity operations.

Lead the selection and design of the performance testing framework.

Work within a technology stack including Java, C#, Angular, MQ, Kafka, Machine Learning, Distributed Caching, MongoDB, DB2/Sybase, and Spring.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the financial services industry.

Proficiency with test automation tools like Cypress/Playwright.

Hands-on experience with MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL databases.
