Location: Mumbai (In office) Experience Required: 0 – 1 year Education: B.E./B.Tech or related degree in Computer Science or Engineering Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and sharp-minded Junior QA Tester to join our fast-paced development team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to go beyond basic testing and get early exposure to automation, API testing, and CI/CD environments. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers to ensure our products meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities: Understand project requirements and contribute to test planning and design. Write and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web and mobile applications. Get trained and contribute to automation test scripts using Selenium or similar tools. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across environments. Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Participate in sprint ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives). Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments. Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab). Requirements: Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC. Knowledge of writing basic test cases and executing them. Basic knowledge of any programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred). Good understanding of HTTP methods, JSON/XML, and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills. Eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks quickly. Bonus Skills: Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Experience with version control systems like Git. Academic projects or internships in testing or QA automation.
