• B. Tech/ Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)

• Should have total 15 to 18 Years of progressive experience in quality assurance with extensive experience in manufacturing industry.
• Should have experience in managing supplier quality.
• Should have experience of Managing Team.
• Solid track record meeting substantial quality improvement targets.
• Experience of various quality standards and quality certifications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality related processes.
• Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes.
• Ensuring product quality during each stage of production.
• Ensuring compliance to various requirement of QMS/EMS as per standard.
• Ensuring route cause analysis and implementation of CAPA for all quality related issues.
• Target to aim zero customer complaints. Drives the initiative for customer compliant reduction in coordination with various stakeholders. 
• Conducting supplier validation audits.
• Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing ) Team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
• Lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and EHS risks.
• Elimination of rework and rejection during assembly process.
• Developing, Executing, Monitoring & controlling Quality related Strategies, plans, programs and systems for short term as well as long term in line with organizational objectives. 
• Alignment & standardization of processes and ensure all quality guidelines (SOPs) are strictly adhered.
• Conceptualizing and implementing innovative methods/ measures/ processes/ policies to optimize resource and capacity utilization thereby increasing efficiency.
• Facilitating smooth implementation of systems and procedures for improving functional efficiency and generate cost savings
• Ensuring implementation of quality standards and stringent quality control systems.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement
• Ensure continual improvement in operational systems, processes and policies inline with Company Vision & Mission.
• Develop, Manage, Lead & drive a dynamic Quality team to ensure it contributes materially to the bottom line of the organization.
• Develop potential Succession Candidates for critical roles within Quality function.
• Creating, Implementing & Monitoring KPIs & Key Functional Metrics of Quality Team.
