QA Lead

As a QA Manager, you will lead and manage the QA team, comprising internal QAs, resources from vendor partners, and external QA partners. Your primary focus is to ensure that all QA activities align with company goals and standards, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. You will also explore testing tools and technologies and recommend the most suitable ones. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies, policies, and procedures. - Enhance QA processes and methodologies continuously. - Define and monitor QA metrics. - Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and cases. - Coordinate testing efforts with development and product teams. - Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing of software applications. - Enhance and expand the company's automation testing framework. - Select appropriate automation tools and technologies. - Provide guidance and training on automation testing. - Maintain high-quality automation to support a true CI/CD release strategy. - Act as the primary liaison between the internal team and Infosys QA resources. - Foster effective communication and collaboration among QA, development, and product teams. - Participate in regular meetings to update on QA activities. - Oversee issue identification, reporting, and resolution. - Ensure timely and accurate documentation of problems and their solutions. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for critical issues. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team. - Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance QA capabilities. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance. - Proactive and committed attitude. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Extensive experience in both manual and automated testing. - Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Cucumber, or similar. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Experience with true CI/CD release approach. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Certifications in QA or related areas (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus. - Experience in eCommerce/Webshops is a preferred qualification for this role.,
