Role Description

• Lead test planning, strategy, and execution for web and API-based applications in the Capital Markets domain
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Maven, and TestNG
• Perform manual testing for functional, regression, and integration test cases
• Conduct thorough API testing using Postman and SoapUI
• Integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins)
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, BA) for seamless delivery
• Track, document, and communicate test progress and defects with clarity
• Collaborate in Agile settings, contributing to continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Strong Capital Market Domain knowledge
• Automation & Manual Testing (Equal expertise in both)
• Java, Maven, TestNG, Git
• API Testing (Postman, SoapUI)
• Excellent Communication Skills and proven Team Leading experience
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI (Preferred)
• Database Testing: Strong SQL skills
• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
• Familiarity with JIRA for project management
• Performance Testing with JMeter (Good to have)
