QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications. Your attention to detail and methodical approach will be key in identifying, recording, and tracking bugs through to resolution using tools like Jira. Your collaboration with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders will ensure that requirements are understood and proper test coverage is achieved. Additionally, you will conduct regression, performance, and usability testing to maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications. - Identify, record and track bugs through to resolution using issue tracking tools like Jira. - Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality. - Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage. - Conduct regression, performance and usability testing. - Continuously enhance QA processes and suggest improvements. - Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices. - Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the development team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a QA or software testing role. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. - Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestCafe or Postman. - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plus. - Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems like Azure DevOps, Jira or Bugzilla. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
