QA Engineer / Software Tester

Job Title: QA Engineer / Software Tester (2+ Years Experience)

Location- Mohali

Experience Required: 2+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, or desktop applications (based on project needs).
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute regression tests, functional tests, performance tests, and smoke tests.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and review meetings (Agile/Scrum methodology).
• Suggest and implement improvements to the QA process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA roles.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis).
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.
• Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium, Postman (for API testing), or similar (a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
