QA Engineer ( Automation)

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of our products.

1. Designing and Developing Automated Tests: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to verify functionality, performance, and stability of software applications.
2. Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with QA and development teams to plan and strategize comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.3. Identifying and Reporting Bugs: Investigate, identify, and document software defects, ensuring clear and concise bug reports are filed.4. Test Framework Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable test automation.5. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment processes.6. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software quality and ensure no regressions occur with new releases.7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.8. Technical Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, test results, and automation processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain comprehensive records.9. Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and automation.

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.3. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, along with experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.4. Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, or similar.5. CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.6. Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git.7. Testing Methodologies: Understanding of software testing methodologies, including black-box testing, white-box testing, and automated testing techniques.8. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify causes.9. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.10. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
