Description
As an Automation QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our products by designing, developing, and executing automated tests. Your attention to detail and passion for high-quality software will be essential in this dynamic team environment. - Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to verify functionality, performance, and stability of software applications. - Collaborate with QA and development teams to plan and strategize comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing. - Investigate, identify, and document software defects, ensuring clear and concise bug reports are filed. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable test automation. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment processes. - Perform regression testing to validate software quality and ensure no regressions occur with new releases. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. - Document test plans, test cases, test results, and automation processes for knowledge sharing and record-keeping. - Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and automation. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on test automation. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, and experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress. - Experience with automation tools such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Understanding of software testing methodologies, including black-box testing, white-box testing, and automated testing techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
