QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with 5-6 years of experience of Manual & API Testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing , with hands-on experience in API testing and database testing . You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing processes. Key Responsibilities: Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios. Perform manual testing of web/mobile applications to identify bugs and inconsistencies. Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar . Validate and verify data through database testing using SQL queries. Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Mantis . Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes. Execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing as needed. Ensure proper documentation of test cases, test results, and test summary reports. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings. Mandatory Skills: Manual Testing – Test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and tracking. API Testing – Experience with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman. Database Testing – Strong SQL skills to validate backend data integrity and consistency. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-6 years of relevant QA experience in a software development environment.
