JD of QA Automation

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in designing and developing automated testing frameworks for web and/or mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in QA processes, scripting skills, and hands-on experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Design and enhance test automation frameworks (BDD, POM, Hybrid, Data-driven).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to define test strategies and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct code reviews of automation scripts and support junior QA team members.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Analyze test results, identify and log defects in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI.
• Ensure test coverage for critical application paths and business processes.
• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, and provide accurate test estimations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Hands-on experience in testing REST APIs and automation of API tests.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based test platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs is a plus.
• Experience in performance or security testing is an advantage (optional).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mentoring or guiding junior QA members is a plus.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
