QA Automation Engineer

ob Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using [e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.].
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Execute automated and manual tests as needed, analyze test results, and report defects.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like [e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.].
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability of the automation suite.
• Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and other quality-related processes.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and contribute to building a culture of quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• [2-5+] years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to mobile testing (e.g., Appium).
• ISTQB or other QA certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
