QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs within your domain. Your role will involve designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and technical products, as well as investigating instances where they do not perform as expected. You will also be involved in designing quality assurance practices to support business development activities and driving the adoption of best practices. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing test automation frameworks using Java and tools like Cucumber BDD, collaborating with development and QA teams to create comprehensive automation suites, and integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment. You will also be responsible for executing performance, load, and stress testing strategies, analyzing test results, and staying updated with emerging testing technologies. To excel in this role, you should have a strong proficiency in Java, experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD and Gatling, and familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and build tools. You should also have experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services, using messaging queues and streaming platforms, and be knowledgeable about BDD/TDD methodologies. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are also required.
