Job Summary:

QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for
mobile (iOS/Android)
and web applications
Define comprehensive test strategies and test plans based on product requirements and specifications
Perform
functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
Set up and maintain automation frameworks and tools for both UI and API testing
Log, track, and verify defects using tools like
JIRA
or similar bug tracking systems
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum teams
Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests into pipelines
Analyze test results and provide detailed quality reports to the team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in
QA
, with
hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing
Mandatory experience in mobile application testing
(Android and iOS)
Strong experience with automation tools like
Appium, Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress
Familiarity with API testing tools such as
Postman
,
Rest Assured
, or
SoapUI
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and defect management
Strong scripting/coding skills in
Java, Python, JavaScript
, or similar
Experience with
CI/CD tools
such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
