QA Analyst

As a QA Analyst at VE3, a global technology company dedicated to providing innovative digital solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products. With a focus on automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, and others, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining end-to-end automation suites across UI and API layers. Your expertise in scripting/programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java will be essential in executing functional and UI testing for new features. Your familiarity with test documentation, defect life cycle, and CI/CD concepts will further enhance your ability to track bugs effectively using tools like JIRA or Gitboards. Additionally, your proficiency in SQL queries for backend data validation and your awareness of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies will be instrumental in driving automation testing forward. Key Responsibilities: - Write and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and UI testing. - Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD workflows. - Collaborate with QA leads and developers to define automation scope and testing goals. - Monitor automation test runs and identify test coverage gaps. - Work closely with developers to detect and track bugs early on. - Express interest in learning AI/ML testing techniques for innovative testing approaches. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in automation testing. - Strong understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Pytest). - Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java). - Proficiency in designing and maintaining end-to-end automation suites. - Knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case design, execution, and bug reporting. - Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI. - Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and frameworks like REST Assured. - Ability to write SQL queries for backend data validation. - Awareness of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and a keen interest in automation testing. Nice-to-Have: - Exposure to AI/ML applications or curiosity about testing LLMs. - Familiarity with BDD tools (Cucumber, Behave). - Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Certifications like ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent.
