We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented manual QA Analyst to join our agile team. If you possess 1-2 years of experience in manual testing, enjoy taking on diverse responsibilities, and are enthusiastic about working in a dynamic startup environment, we are eager to learn more about you! Prior experience in automation testing would be advantageous. As a QA Analyst at Alaan, your responsibilities will include executing comprehensive test cases to verify the quality and functionality of our software products, identifying and documenting software defects using bug-tracking tools, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and formulate effective testing strategies, performing thorough regression testing to prevent the recurrence of resolved bugs, participating in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions as part of our Agile process, and continuously enhancing your skills by learning and implementing new QA methodologies and tools to enhance testing efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of manual software testing experience, a solid grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and bug reports, familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar software, excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, basic knowledge of automation testing tools and practices, familiarity with tools such as Selenium or QTP, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
