QA Analyst

As a highly skilled QA Analyst with expertise in manual API testing and SQL querying within the insurance domain, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for APIs and database layers. - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and build effective test strategies. - Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis. - Validate data flow between frontend, APIs, and databases. - Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs manually using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, etc. - Ability to validate request/response structures, status codes, and headers. - Experience in writing and executing API test cases and scenarios. - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and verification. - Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL). - Strong understanding of insurance processes and workflows. - Experience working on insurance-related applications or platforms. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, BAs, and stakeholders. In addition to the mentioned responsibilities and qualifications, you will have the opportunity to work with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, and gain knowledge of automation frameworks. Please note that this is a Full-time role with Contractual / Temporary employment for a duration of 12 months.
