Develop methodologies for the extraction, cleaning, organization, and discoverability of information from a variety of media types in the collection of information. Design and develop the OCR service with Textract, Google tesseract / Google Vision to extract information. Collaborate with a team to reduce the error rate, failure rates and thresholds Apply knowledge of best practices in RPA, OCR data capture Leverage established tools, assets, or techniques in support of project and product delivery. Demonstrate sound decision-making and make recommendations on a regular basis; communicate these decisions clearly to colleagues. Assist in execution of an approach to solving complex client problems. Build OCR templates and design OCR batch processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving OCR engine performance and implement new technologies. Respond promptly to client requests or inquiries. Should be able to work directly with Process Engineers and BOT developers to build an integrated automated solution. Writing scalable code using Python programming language. Testing and debugging applications. Developing back-end components. Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic. Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests. Integrating data storage solutions. Coordinating with front-end developers. Reprogramming existing databases to improve functionality. Developing digital tools to monitor online traffic. Skills and qualifications we are looking for: Bachelors degree in science and technology. Total 3+ years of software development experience including experience in Java or Python. Understanding and hands on experience in Scanning Technology Demonstrate knowledge OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION (OCR) software Knowledge in extracting data via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and transforming metadata Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills Work experience in Java/Python Development 2+ years of relevant OCR development experience.
