Job Description Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services using Python, Django, and FastAPI. Database Management: Design, implement, and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. API Development and Integration: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for various frontend applications and third-party services. Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, including database queries and API responses. Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python. Strong experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks. Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design. Experience with RESTful API design and development. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Preferred Qualifications Candidates should have 3 + years of experience as a python developer. Experience working in the fintech industry. Experience building new products from the ground up. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
