Python Developer

As a Python Developer at CitrusLeaf, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust backend applications, contributing to cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.

Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
• Develop and maintain robust Django/frappe applications with secure, efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Database Design and Management:
• Design, implement, and optimize database solutions using both relational and non-relational databases
• API Development and Integration:
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate with various external systems.
• Code Testing and Debugging:
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
• Code Optimization and Performance Improvements:
• Set up unit tests, identify and address bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements in the applications.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven minimum 2 years of experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of database systems e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL. (Big no to MongoDB)
• Deep understanding of version control (e.g., Git).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
• Strong familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
