Are you passionate about using code to decode human physiology?

Acrophase at IIT Madras is inviting skilled and curious Python developers to join our team working at the intersection of athlete monitoring, wearable sensors, and data-driven physiology. 

Position: Python Developer

Location: IIT Madras, Chennai

Duration: 3-6 months internship (with potential full-time conversion based on performance)

What you'll do?

• Develop and optimize Python-based data processing pipelines for physiological and performance data.
• Work on real-world ECG and wearable sensor datasets from athletes.
• Implement advanced signal processing and feature extraction algorithms.
• Contribute to visualization dashboards and analytics modules for athlete monitoring.
• Collaborate with the research team to integrate models with experimental workflows.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and reproducible code for research and deployment.

What are we looking for?

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of signal processing concepts.
• Experience working with biomedical signals (ECG, HRV, etc.) or sports tech is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning or data visualization tools is desirable.
• Ability to translate raw data into meaningful physiological insights.
• Enthusiasm to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, high-performance research environment.
