Python Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer / Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 7+ developers, providing technical guidance and support
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications using Python and Django
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for front-end and third-party integrations
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS for performance and scalability
• Use Celery for background task processing and Redis for caching
• Work with PostgreSQL (PSQL) databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization
• Enforce best practices for code quality, security, and performance
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver new features
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables using AGILE methodologies and JIRA
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Django development
• Strong experience in designing and developing REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Proficiency in Linux environments
• Experience with Celery and Redis
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (PSQL)
• Proven experience in leading and managing development teams
• Familiarity with AGILE methodologies and JIRA
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
